The starting salary for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.

Job Summary
The Executive Client Manager facilitates and manages relationships for Advocate Capital’s assigned clients. The Executive Client Manager (ECM) will cultivate positive relationships and serve as an ally and liaison between clients, the credit committee, and the accounting department, providing creative solutions when necessary to strengthen relationships and secure business. The ECM will also make sure certain clients have the tools and information they need to ensure maximum utilization of the product while also ensuring those clients are adhering to the terms of the credit facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted first point of contact, advocate, and problem solver for clients – this role is “the face of Advocate Capital” and a resource for all questions.
- Using creative initiative, strong listening skills, and a friendly, patient approach, develop and maintain positive, productive, friendly, and committed relationships with existing clients and the clients’ designee.
- Leverage established, positive relationships with clients to obtain referrals for new business.
- Maximize utilization of ACI products and services by consulting with the Guarantors, assessing their specific financial & personal goals and objectives, and identifying a specific plan through the ACI relationship.
- On a consistent & routine basis (daily via daily summary and then a more detailed view weekly), review account utilization (account balances, funding, and payment history) to assess utilization and identify any specific needs or threats to be addressed (such as accounts nearing maximum utilization or accounts underutilizing the program). Follow up accordingly, communicating any specific outliers, needs, or threats to the CEO.
- On an annual basis, coordinate the collection of renewal review information, including any credit committee questions for the portfolio of accounts, while managing a positive, productive relationship with the clients throughout this process. Help clients over specific hurdles when necessary, communicating special needs to the credit department.
- Coordinate the collection of Quality Assurance Review information according to a pre-defined procedure and specific timeline, ensuring the needs of the QAA team and the credit team are met. Assist clients with gathering and providing the information in the most efficient way possible.
- Reach out via phone, email, mail (birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc.), and social media according to the assigned contact schedule, utilizing judgment to contact in addition to the schedule.
- Serve as an ambassador for Advocate Capital, visiting clients on-site and attending tradeshows and other client-related / marketing events.
- Provide training as needed for assigned customer accounts and assist the sales team with educating prospect/new customer accounts.
- Lead a selection of ‘as needed’ special projects as assigned by our President.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 – 6 years of proven experience managing critical relationships within the financial or legal industry.
- Paralegal Certification (can be obtained through your employment)
