The American Association of Justice (AAJ) awards the David S. Shrager President’s Award during their annual summer conference. This award “recognizes an AAJ member who has demonstrated former AAJ President David Shrager’s (1983-84) passion for the law and trial bar, and who has made an outstanding contribution to civil justice and the work of AAJ.” The 2021 recipient of this prestigious award was our friend and client, Larry F. Taylor, Jr. of The Cochran Firm – Dallas.
Larry understands the needs of his clients, especially having walked in their shoes. He once faced a “goliath of a corporation” and needed an attorney to be his voice and stand up for his rights. Larry identifies the “complexities and care needed to make sure his clients are informed and made comfortable during the most vulnerable times of their lives.” He dedicates himself to helping those who “struggle for a sense of fairness.”
Larry received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University before receiving his Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshal School of Law in 2008. He is a member of multiple Bar Associations, including several in the State of Texas and the Oklahoma and New Mexico State Bar Associations.
Larry, along with his law partners, Bryan Pope and Nicole R. Taylor, have a clear and defined mission:
“Protecting the legal rights of ALL people in our community. No matter your race, gender, background, or income level, you have a right to skilled legal help.”
Their cases include car wrecks, personal injury, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), police brutality/civil rights, criminal defense, and employee rights.
Larry and his team work hard every day to protect those who need them the most. They fight for justice and an even playing field for their clients and all of us.
Advocate Capital, Inc. is proud to recognize Larry F. Taylor, Jr. for receiving the 2021 AAJ David S. Shrager President’s Award for his hard work and dedication to his clients and community.
