Advocate Cares teamed up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to help sort food in the freezer! While the freezer was chilly, the work warmed our hearts.
Second Harvest provides food to hungry people and works to solve hunger issues in communities across the country. According to the food bank, 1 in 8 Middle Tennesseans (including 1 in 6 children) struggle with hunger daily.
Advocate Cares helped sort 8,566 lbs or 7,147 meals. It was an honor to help serve those in need.
