It was recently my special privilege and honor to present the Advocate Capital, Inc./American Association for Justice Paralegal of the Year Award to the 2018 honoree, Alesia Emison. The presentation was made in Denver, CO during the American Association for Justice Annual Convention.
Ms. Emison personifies what a paralegal professional should be in every sense. The amazing nomination letter submitted by partner Robert L. Langdon of Langdon & Emison Attorneys at Law, headquartered in Lexington, Missouri made her selection as the 2018 winner an easy choice!
Excerpts from Mr. Langdon’s nomination include:
It is Alesia's substantial contributions to our cases and paralegal team as well as her tremendous dedication to our clients that sets her apart and makes her the ideal recipient of this award. Alesia's leadership enriches the lives of her clients, and her work is guided by a dedication to service and giving back to others. Her willingness to serve has no limits.
In addition to her accomplishments with clients, cases and as the leader of the paralegal team at the firm, Alesia is also a published author and presenter on a national level regarding key topics like the HITECH Act and focus groups.
Advocate Capital, Inc. and the American Association for Justice are proud to partner for this award recognizing the hard work, dedication and many contributions of paralegals to our civil justice system. Ms. Emison and colleagues like her clearly make a difference helping trial lawyers achieve justice for injured clients.
Congratulations Alesia Emison and keep up the great work!
