Our Advocate Cares team participated in our first virtual walk-a-thon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a non-profit organization working to find a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma. The organization also provides resources to patients and their families from support groups, housing, and helping pay for patient care.
Our team wanted to make a difference, so we decided to raise money via a walk-a-thon. Our team’s goal was to walk 500 miles, and we ended up beating our goal! We ended up walking 808 miles as a team!
We are grateful for the opportunity to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Organizations like LLS make a massive difference in our communities and those impacted by cancer.
